There’s a new chill at night in SLC. Powder and Skiing Magazine have their Buyers Guides on magazine racks. I heard rumors that there has been snow in Colorado. Time to start looking at passes for me and the kids and I think its going to be Alta this year. Keeping our collective fingers crossed for another epic season.
I read a Wired article over the weekend about Jim Jennard and his most recent project called Red Digital. Red, the article claimed, was making a sensational new form of HD film capture. I was pretty skeptical, then I saw this. The skating is pretty vanilla, but the quality of video is stunning.
